Bottle courtesy if DonFrap, thanks again!
Pours a dark brown color with a very nice tan head. Looks great!
Smells like a nice cup of coffee and not much else, maybe some cream and sugar.
Taste is very coffee forward. Some notes of roasted malts, brown sugars, and cream. But this is mostly about the coffee. Finish is crisp, and slightly bitter.
Mouthfeel is a touch thin, needs a bit more body.
Overall, a pretty nice beer. But this is a bit of a one trick pony, lots of coffee flavors that are nice, but it needs some more stout flavors to balance this out. Still enjoyable though.

A: A shade or two before black. Thin cream head.
S: Great smell. Reminiscent of chocolate covered espresso beans.
T: Iced coffee. Very nice balance.
O: Very pleasant, and enjoyable. Worth a try.
Coffee Stout is a classic combination of a traditional stout and premium French roast coffee from St. Louis roaster, Kaldi’s Coffee. Roasted barley and coffee dominate the aroma, with the sweetness from the stout balancing the acidity of the coffee. We use a unique cold toddy extraction process to brew a less acidic coffee for the beer.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle dated 11/20/2012.
Excellent pour. Typical dark brown colored thin porter like pour. Pitch black inside the glass. Nice one finger thick tan brown colored head that recedes slowly. Excellent lacing on the sides. Opaque colored.
Nice strong coffee aroma. Ground coffee with strong pungent smell. Strength is moderate to good. The coffee dominates the flavors and hides the other components of the beer. Some roasted malts slide through the midst.
Taste is a nice mix of roasted malts and strong coffee flavors. Finish is dry and slightly bitter.
Mouth feel is medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Drinks heavy. Very strong coffee.
Wrongly picked this beer at night when i wanted to sleep.
