Poured from an 12 oz bottle with multiple shades of orange on the label into a duvel tulip. The label notes "Special Release"
A - A moderate pour yields almost no head but is often expected by a high gravity beer. Body is deep orange with ruby highlights. A thin wisp rests on top of the body from the etching in the glass
S - Intensely spicy with hints of pumpkin and clove.
T - Rich and sweet up front and finishes with a bittersweet spice. Pumpkin flavor is well pronounced throughout.
M - Medium bodied, but perhaps a little overcarbonated for the flavors present.
O - An excellent affordable pumpkin ale. Stands up to those bombers pretty well and packs plenty of flavor to just keep sipping.
