Very deep amber body with a small white head.
The smell holds loads of sweet sugary cinnamon. So sweet on the nose with pumpkin coming out only a bit.
The taste is just wow. Super sweet pumpkin spices that are only out done by the pumpkin itself. Lots of clove and cinnamon really dominate, with a hint of allspice (kind of forgotten). Super sweet caramelly pumpkin come to the forefront, but its still drinkable.
God damn this is good.

Had on-tap at the Schlafly release party at El Bait Shop.
Appearance- Light amber, almost no head.
Smell- Spices, nutmeg I'm particular. Pumpkin seeps its way through there as well.
Taste- I'm not usually a pumpkin ale guy but hats off to Schlafly on making one heck of a pumpkin ale. The nutmeg, cinnamon and other spices are blended really well with the pumpkin.
Overall- Most pumpkin ales teeter one way or the other but this one gets it right. Best balance I've had from one yet. I'd put it over ST Pumpking for sure. Just wish I was drinking this in October and not June.
