A: Pours a clear orangish copper color with a 1 finger head that quickly fades to a ring, decent wispy lacing left on the glass.
N: Smells very sweet. There is cinnamon and sugar in there with some general pumpkin pie spice aroma. Smells like it will be cloying.
T: Surpisingly (and thankfully!) it is not cloying. Moderate pumpkin pie spice is combined with a solid malt backbone. No hops of detected whatsoever (unsurprising). This beer is fairly drinkable and seems a standard pumpkin ale.
M: Medium carbonation, good body.
O: A good beer that I'm only knocking down a notch for the almost sickeningly sweet aroma that almost scared me away. I could not drink more than two of these because that pumpkin pie spice wears out the palate eventually.
