12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Thanks Treebs for hooking me up with another bottle that showed me how awesome craft beer can be.
Appearance: Orange-amber color with a dense one finger head that retained fairly well.
Smell: Spices and pumpkin sweetness all over the nose. Very pronounced and perfect for a pumpkin beer.
Taste: Initial sweetness and natural pumpkin flavor, then the spices. Cinnamon and nutmeg all over the palate. Finishes with a more subtle spice flavor and bready malt.
Mouthfeel: Medium-body, low carbonation, smooth, and high drinkability.
Overall: My favorite pumpkin beer. Really drinkable, not too sweet, and great flavors.

Had on-tap at the Schlafly release party at El Bait Shop.
Appearance- Light amber, almost no head.
Smell- Spices, nutmeg I'm particular. Pumpkin seeps its way through there as well.
Taste- I'm not usually a pumpkin ale guy but hats off to Schlafly on making one heck of a pumpkin ale. The nutmeg, cinnamon and other spices are blended really well with the pumpkin.
Overall- Most pumpkin ales teeter one way or the other but this one gets it right. Best balance I've had from one yet. I'd put it over ST Pumpking for sure. Just wish I was drinking this in October and not June.
