A- darker orange amber than other pumpkins. Soft foamy head. Slightly hazy.
S- good pumpkin notes with a big hit of cinnamon and sugar. I almost had to do a double take to make sure it wasn't apple cinnamon. Great smell.
T- yes yes yes. This is the flavor that sets the standard. Big pumpkin flavor. Cinnamon and sugar and a finish that has a candy sweetness to it.
M- malty and smooth. Too easy to drink.
O- this is my leader of the pack so far. Awesome beer.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into tulip glass.
A- Pours a deep garnet with a good degree of clarity for such a dark colored beer and a pumpkin on at that. Small whitish caramel head that dissipates to a thin ring.
S- Medium level of spices of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Lots of malt, similar to that of a scotch ale. Has a slight mellow gourd sort of sourness you get when smelling fresh pumpkin.
T- Similar to aroma, perfect level of spices for my tastes, a very noticeable pumpkin aspect, and a malt character that doesn't overshadow the pumpkin. Tastes the way a "from scratch" pumpkin pie ought to taste. Alcohol is not really noticeable.
M- Medium-heavy and a good lower carbonation for the style. As opposed to something like Pumking which is more effervescent.
O- I think this might be my favorite example of the style, slightly higher than Dogfish Head Punkin' and Pumking. Great balanced spices and great pumpkin flavor.
