A- A murky, sort of light brownish-orange with a fizzy tan head that leaves a thick ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass. When held up to the light, there is some transparent light shining through.
S- Big aromas of clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin bread and hints of toast. Very bold aroma, but not overwhelming.
T- The spices mentioned shine through in the flavor as well. While the nose was dominated by clove, it is mainly noticeable in the finish. Nutmeg and cinnamon come through first along with the hints of toast. Sugary pumpkin bread sweetness in the middle with clove at the end.
M- Medium-full bodied with medium carbonation. In between a full sipper and an easy drinker.
O- A very good, very solid pumpkin beer. Very nicely put together.
