12 oz bottle dated 4-27-12. Poured into a shaker.
A - Deep gold to blonde. Big white head recedes to a quarter-inch foam leaving intense lacing. Appears lightly carbonated.
S - Enormous aroma. Tangerine with slight passionfruit note, grassy background. Certainly fresh.
T - Lightly toasted biscuit with slight carbonation bite up front. Transitions to a caramel and resiny hop mid with intense tangerine flavor. Ends with a nice toasted bread note and hoppy bitterness that lingers only slightly. Finish is neither dry nor sweet but "just right".
M - Medium to light body with corresponding carbonation. Oily slickness from hop resins noted.
O - An excellent exampleo f the style, and the freshness really helps. One of the best quaffing IPAs around.
Notes: Re-review. Did not reread my old review prior to posting this.
