Appearance - The beer was a murky brown color with a slight mocha head clinging to the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma was a borderline orgasmic level of raspberry. Coffee notes lay in the background, but the raspberry is dominant.
Taste - The disappointment starts on the initial taste. I feel like I have just taken a gulp of raspberry scented 80's hairspray. Dry malts, Sanka, and artificial raspberry notes are present. There is a strange artificial aftertaste that I just do not like.
Mouthfeel - This is a stout and largely resembles the style. The viscosity is thick and coats.
Overall - I had trouble finishing the glass. I could not finish the bottle.

Jet black in appearance. When held up to light just a wee bit will seep through. A tiny wisp of off white foam partially covers the top of the beer. The aroma is mainly a very sweet raspberry with undertones of rich, bold, dark coffee. The mouth is thick and yet silky. The flavor is bold, dark coffee with a faint tartness of raspberry. There's a lingering battle of bitterness from the coffee and tartness of raspberry.
