Bottled on 11/22/13 - Consumed 1/2/14
Appearance: Poured into Teku glass. Light fluffy white head that lingers, great lacing. Very light straw color, surprisingly lighter in color than expected.
Aroma: Huge aroma wafting out of the bottle as soon as it's opened. Big galaxy aroma. The first impression isn't necessarily "citrus." I can't really put my finger on it, and never have been able to describe Galaxy. Light fruits, passion fruit, White grapes. Very pleasant aroma.
Flavor: Big hop presence. Extremely dry, with absolutely no malt detected. Very fruity, with some slight herbal notes.
Overall: Great beer overall. I would have liked it to be slightly more balanced, but the flavor really shines through and takes over on this one. My opinion, but I think it could have used a touch of crystal for added complexity and balance. I'm sure I would have liked this more if it were a couple weeks younger.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy straw color with quite a bit of carbonation. About 3/4" of eggshell white head forms, which has good retention and lacing. Pretty good looking IPA.
Smell: I get some pale malt character initially, followed by a ton of dankness. Some tropical fruit comes through, but it really turns oniony for me. The dankness on the nose is definitely overdone for me.
Taste: Some pale malt sweetness starts out, followed by loads of hop flavor. Tropical fruit, and dankness follows. The finish is very dank with a bit of onion. Little to no bitterness. Fortunately the onion is not as strong in the flavor as it is in the smell, although I do pick a bit up.
Mouthfeel/Overall: Light to medium mouthfeel with ample carbonation. Very nice. Overall, I thought this was pretty good. If the hop flavor was refined a bit, this could turn into something special, as I really enjoy a dank, fruity IPA. I had heard some great things about this beer and while I enjoyed it, I came away slightly underwhelmed. I definitely plan to revisit this as soon as I can though, and will re-review if I have a different take.

A- pours a lemon colored with slight haze. White head settles to a nice cake.
S- So much fresh hops on the nose. mango, lemon zest, orange, grape fruit, and lots of pineapple. An outstanding doughy malt base.
T- Follows nose pretty well, but the flavors just don't explode like the aroma did coming out of the glass. The balance is spot on. The toasted bread malt base and doughy goodness shines. This one has a buttery smoothness to it as the hop level never becomes astringent.
M- mid body. A bit substance that expected. moderate carbonation gives way to a chalky feel. no alcohol detected.
O- A really nice IPA. Not sure that I am totally on board with all the love, but this is a brewery that continues to impress. Aroma really blew me away. Always a fan of the galaxy hop.

Poured to a dense and full head with great retention and lacing, light tan color. Appearance was a clear and deep golden color. Aroma had strong citrus, fruit and grass notes with some herbal notes. Tastes nice and hoppy with some sweet and fruity characteristics mixed in. Also some floral and grain, almost woody, thrown in. Mouth feel was medium with a dry and biting aftertaste.

Poured with a orange color and a head of about an inch or so. Color is really nice.
Odor is fruity and mostly sweet with a little green to it.
Taste is hoppy and fruity. A little bitterness with citrus(grapefruit and orange) as well as some tropical fruit. A little bitterness at the end. Mouth feel is pretty smooth overall with moderate carbonation.
Overall, a pretty good IPA. Not as good as others, but has good complex flavor and a great appearance.

Bottled on 11/7/12.
Pours a clear light golden color, with visible carbonation and a fluffy 2-finger off-white head. Nice lacing, too. This is a gorgeous beer.
Smell is big on tropical fruits. Pinapple, mango, some peach, orange and mandarin, a light biscuity malt backbone. Ever so slightly skunky. On tap this was ridiculously pungent - kind of reminded me of Zombie Dust. In bottles, it's a bit less so, though it opens up as it warms.
Taste is a grainy biscuity malt backbone, with some nice hop profile. A lot of the same flavors as the smell, but they're somewhat muted. Finishes with a nice warmth.
Mouthfeel is excellent. Light, well carbonated, tingly. No complaints at all.
This is a solid IPA. It's a fun hop. Let it warm before you drink it, though, and have it on tap if at all possible. This review is for the bottle, but on tap this beer is a whole different beast.

This Tasmanian IPA was had in a shaker pint.
Appearance- About a finger of white foam sitting on top of the glass, a little spot lace is on the glass too. The body is about as light lager looking as a beer could possibly be, a transparent yellow-gold with copious amounts of carbonation columns.
Smell- Man this IPA smells great! There is some tropical fruit hanging out, mixing with a spicy herbal scent. This combo is incredibly intoxicating, and I haven't even taken a drink yet. Oh yeah, the tropical fruit is more sweet, like star fruit and oranges. Only getting a 4 because it could be much stronger.
Taste- I'm already halfway through this bottle, quaff-able indeed. It has a lot of that herbal spice that was on the nose with more biscuit malt. The bitterness that sticks to the back of my mouth has a resin-y edge to it.
Tropical fruit is not as evident here. Maybe some orange and grapefruit in the finish, but not shining through like the spice. Still a great drink.
Mouth feel- The feel is completely appropriate but not overly interesting. It is slick and has enough stick to keep the flavor coming, but just barely has a medium body and no real heft.
Overall- I really enjoyed this beer! And at 7.2%, this beer could be down right dangerous. For an IPA, it gives you just enough bitterness and flavor to keep it interesting. I hope there are 6 packs left the next time I go back to the store...

On tap at the Flying Saucer in Little Rock, AR
A: Pours a clear golden/orange/amber color. A two finger white head forms, and gently recedes. Good lace is left behind.
S: Wow, there is a huge fresh cut grass aroma. Ridiculously fresh, and floral aromas. Piny hops and grapefruit bitterness lingers. An awesome nose.
T: Follows the nose with a big fresh, floral, cut grass flavor. That is very enjoyable. Resiny and piny in the finish, which might be just a bit to much. Overall, enjoyable.
M/D: A medium to full body. Medium carbonation. Though a big resiny character detracts a bit. Not hard to drink, though with the resinous character and alcohol makes this a sipper.
This is not a huge beer, but just enough resinous body and alcohol to make this a sipper. Still very enjoyable, even for the non hop head. Plenty of hops, but not overbearing. Again, enjoyable.

A: Pours a bright Copper color with a good head and ample lacing.
S: Aroma of grapefruit, a bit herbal and trace of spice.
T: Taste of grapefruit, mixed fruit, with bit of spice and hint of malt sweetness in the background.
F: Medium body, very crisp and refreshing. has a distinct freshness and the 7.2% ABV is very well hidden.
O: A very enjoyable beer. Hope to see this again in the future. Well worth checking out.
