Why was this beer added with no review? I'll have to assume he/she meant Noctus 100 when they added the Riegele Imperial Stout, because there is no beer called that from Riegele last year.

Anyway, this is an intense beer. It is 100% opaque. Not even sunshine makes it though my glass. The head is very thick and brown as coffee froth. The carbonation cascades up the sides of the glass very beautifully. You can definitely smell the fact that it's 10% ABV, followed by the fact that this is one of the maltiest beers you'll ever have. Loads of coffee and a bit of chocolate. They try very hard to balance this one out with hops and in my mind they've done a good job. It's an extremely heavy beer with a dry mouthfeel. Overall, very good, but the exact opposite of a session beer. Just one for me, please! (806 characters)
