De Labirratorium. En copa hefe de Bavaria. Estudiando. En un estilo que raramente decepción no iba a ser está la excepción. Quizás al principio queda resulte lago sobrecarbonatada y se le eche en falta dulzor, pero a medida que atemperado va ganado bastantes enteros y crushabilidad.

L: Brilliant brown under a 2" light beige cap with a very fine bead and good retention.
S: Rich malty aromas, bread crust, light toast, fresh bread, low hop presence
T: Follows the aroma with slightly more hints of chocolate. It is lightly sweet with medium low hop bitterness.
F: very creamy, medium body and medium low carbonation
O: This is very drinkable, full flavored and a beer you can drink all evening.

The place I enjoyed this offered it in 20 ounce or 40 (which i thought was outrageously excessive) ounce pours, Went with the 20 only to regret it when i drained the glass in minutes. Never had a beer that was such a perfect balance of flavor, texture and aroma. Brown sugar, cocoa, dried plum notes without being sweet. Nicely hopped but not so much that palet fatigue set in after a few sips. Will order this whenever i see it and next time will go for the full pour. A beautiful representation of the style. Always wonder why more Munich Dunkels aren't available stateside during the cooler months

Pours a crystal clear dark brown color, with some fierce ember highlights to it, topped off by a huge stable head.
Smells of whole grain bread, additional toasty grains, together with a whiff of licorice and a well pronounced toffee quality.
Has a light, soft mouthfeel with a light effervescence during its finish.
Tastes of bakers chocolate, toasty, bready malts with a sweet, yet balanced toffee sweetness to them. Turns softer after the swallow, with some bread dough and tingly molasses as a well working antagonist. Finishes light, aqueous with a light stony mineralic quality, leading to a quick ending.
Lovely dunkel with a perfect balance and surprisingly silk mouthfeel, making you drink a whole bottle of this without even noticing.

The thing I love most about this beer is the full flavor but smooth and medium body. It sacrifices nothing for taste but still accomplishes a very clean finish and mild medium - light mouthfeel. Once you swallow, it's gone.
