agate brown, medium foam

not very present nose, a bit of daisies, a mite of pita

taste starts very fruity (bananas, starfuit, mangosteen) but oddly turns into a rather dry, mildly bitter finish

interesting Weisse, not quite up to the 'grand crus' but certainly worth a try

not sure why this brew is marked as "retired" - just bought it a few weeks ago

The beer comes in a translucent brown color.

The aroma has clove, pepper with wheat and lots of banana, and dried dates.

The flavor follows with that sweet banana, along with clove and pepper spice. A yeasty finish on the back end.

A well made brew that adds a toasty note and sweetness with that familiar hefeweizen banana flavor.

Pours a light copper body with touches of dark fruits and bread, as well as sweetness in the aroma.
Smooth and a little sweet with tropical fruit sweetness kicking around and yeast adding smoothness, this is not a bad beer at all.
Little bit of spice and booze (which is odd) on the finish.
Just not a overly complex or distinguishing dunkle as it really just maintains a light fruit sweetness profile.
