Poured on-tap and served in a stemmed vase, the beer is a hazy, muddled, orange-amber coloring with a foamy, frothy, smooth, off-white head of about a half an inch. Aromas are yeasty, with a clove and banana bread heavy backbone and some malty sweet highlights. Flavors are clove heavy on the forward tongue, then the flavors blast through into the sinuses, leaving a light banana and biscuit flavor blend on the tongue. The aftertaste is heavy clove once again, with a slight caramel malt sweetness that was almost overpowered on the palate. The finish has a slight linger, but only for an instant, leaving a filmy feel in mouth.
