Had for a little apres ski action
A: Mediocre pour by the cute, but bored with life, bartender lass displays a medium brown with a touch of amber beer with a thin head.
S: Almond, pecan, toffee, caramel.
T: Mildly sweet with hints at roasted almonds pecan pie with lots of sugar, and toffee.
M: Medium bodied with a slight click texture.
D: Tasty, not overdone, not underdone.

My pint arrived with basically no head, due to an overflowing pour. The smell wasn't bad with nice caramel malt sweetness and nuttiness. The taste was fairly good as well although a little on the sweet side. I think the sweetness would get to be too much after a couple so I dinged the drinkability a little.

Long Valley- Nut Brown Ale
Appearance- Light copper brown with no head.
Smell- Light peanut, almond, and cofee bean.
Taste- Light sweet malt with a mild nutty flavor. Just not bold enough.
Mouthfeel- Just when you think the flavor is going to burst out it fizzles.
Overall- Another decent beer by LV but they seem to fall a little short. Hell, their beers won alot of awards, I'm enjoying them but wishing for more flavor.

I equate this with drinking a honey roasted peanut.
Forgive me since i am still new at the description process however there was no head on it after it was poured. The smell was very nutty and the color was a honey style.
Went down smooth and easy, very good. Can't say enough good things about it.

This was served to me as a medium brown with a nice 1-inch head that didn't take too long to become a thin lace.
It didn't have much of an aroma - some nutty flavors and slight caramel, but nothing that really stood out.
The taste was very average for this type. Nothing bad, but nothing that made it above average in any way.
It had a little bit of an odd aftertaste - maybe too bitter for this style. My friends and I couldn't quite place it.
It is, as I said, quite average. They should try to make it a bit more flavorful

Clear brown in color with reddish highlights on the edges. Thin head quickly disappeared. Very light carbonation. Some nuttiness can be picked up in the aroma. The flavor is of mild malts, very little bitterness, and nut tones. A tiny hint of roastiness is detectable but does not impact the overall flavor.
Thin in body, with a very smooth mouthfeel. Relatively clean sweet finish. Nicely drinkable, but definitely on the lighter side on both flavor and body.
