NorthsideFred is the best.
Pours a bright cherry red with pretty good clarity and good visible carbonation running throughout. The initial 1 finger fizzy head fades quickly but retains at a nice, soft white skim.
Aromas of cherry and raspberry syrups kick into an overall profile that reminds me of cranberry juice cocktail.
This beer is incredibly refreshing and delicious. It is crisp and bright and juicy with just a little bit of syrupyness in the overall very sweet taste. The cherry is actually pretty authentic, and raspberry juice comes through in a tart accompaniment. It is sweet-tart and well carbonated, keeping things light. Drinks more like a sparkling wine than a beer, and leaves behind tasty sweetness in a stickiness that coats the palate well.
Love this beer. Can't wait until we meet again!
