Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.

A- Dark, murky copper color. Very little off-white head formed and dissipated quickly.

S- Pungent acidic cherry smell hits the nose. As soon as I took a whiff, I knew I was in for a treat.

T- Unbelievably good. Imagine cherries piled upon cherries just sitting in your beer, giving off all their flavor. Very surprised as to how defined the cherry taste remained throughout consumption.

M- Light, refreshing, and slightly carbonated. Nice touch of fizz in their as well. Perfect all the way.

D- The tart and sour taste got to be a little too much after a while. I think this beer is better if shared with another person.

Huge thanks to Jeremy (drseamus) for sending this my way. This may be one of the first beers of mine that my fiance actually approved of. Definitely a must try!

Ruddy red colored pour with a small loose head. Tart cherry and sweet pie aroma with a hint of funk. Sweet tart cherry pie flavor with slight cane sugar, vinegar, apple cider and biscuit. The body is sticky, medium full with lots of effervescent carbonation.

Appearance: Pours with two fingers of slight red/pink head. Thin layer retained while drinking with random sticky lacing left behind. Medium amount of active carbonation in glass while drinking. The color is ruby red and is very clear and transparent.

Smell: Juicy, sweet, sugary wonderfulness explodes out of the glass. The cherries make your mouth absolutely water with a sweetness that is so potent but kept in check from being obnoxiously sweet with true mastery. Some grassy earthy hops can be picked up on the back end.

Taste: Sugary cherries hit right away with a perfect amount of lingering sourness. Its unbelievable how potent and perfectly the cherries are about to dominate this brew. The sourness continues to linger through on the body with some light oak character. Grainy earthy hops sit on the palate after with of course continuing cherries.

Mouthfeel: Light dryness, lingering sugary rounded sweetness, and some grainy hop character.

Overall: Cannot help but love these masterpieces from New Glarus. No other brewery I've had can bring out the fruit character more potently and perfectly. Their sweetness is always kept from going too far. These are an absolute must try.

Served in my Lindemans flute. Pours very murkey and muddy orangy-red with a tightly bubbled creamy pinkish head. You can smell the tartness and acidity of the cherries. Very nice. Some yeastiness. Absolutly spectacular flavor. Sweet up front. Tart at the end. Slight drying affect. Full luscious body. Lively carbonation. I bet I could get in a lot of knickers with this beer.
