Appearance is ruby red with a foamy red/white head.
Aroma is farm fresh cherries, berries, sugar, some faint spice.
Flavor is deep tart cherry, almost black cherry. Sugar sweetness to balance it out.
It's just a great back and forth balance of tart and sweet cherry.
Mouthfeel is medium to full. It coats your mouth and lingers for a little bit.
Really good beer.

Poured from a bottle into a New Glarus flute.

A: Pours a deep, cherry red color with a slight ring of head that fizzles away.

S: Ripe, tart, cherries and sweet malt. Reminiscent of Robitussin, but not in a gross way.

T: Taste follows the smell to a T... deep cherry flavor and sweet doughy malts.

M: Medium in body with moderate carbonation.

O: An incredible fruit beer that delivers on it's promise... the cherries are definitely the focus of this beer, as opposed to a beer with a faint cherry character. Very nice.
