A: Pours a ruby/brown color with a one finger white head. The head dissipates to a ring with soapy lacing.
S: Big cherry fills up the nose, almost cough syrup but not as harsh. Light malt at the back end.
T: Again, lots of cherry. I am glad it doesn't taste like cough syrup. Very sweet and a little sour pucker. The cherry leaves the palate almost as quickly as it enters, keeps me wanting more.
M: Light on the palate. Medium carbonation.
O: This brewery knows how to make fruit beers. This one doesn't dissipoint.

Pours a nice, white-red head with good persistence. A wonderful aroma of yeasty wood and cherries. GLORIOUS, radiant crimson color. Flavor is tart and BURSTING with cherry flavor. Near the end, that yeasty-woody aspect makes an appearance.

Jesus, this is glorious. Still my favorite New Glarus Lambic of them all. The cherry flavor is bold and delicious, and I don't really like cherries that much...which says a lot.

Almost like a bubbly cranberry juice this poured a bright and attractive hue of red. The head was a pinkish cloud of tight knit bubbles.

Not to wax on about childhood but I remember Ludens cough drops and how they were like candy. The aroma holds tight to that reminiscent cherry sweetness...just like candy.

The taste is tart and somewhat tangy with a sweet yet natural cherry flavor. It's like liquid Jolly Rancher cherry candy!

The feel is moderately carbonated and though this seems unbeerlike in taste it definitely feels like a beer.

New Glarus is the brewery that makes me exclaim "wow!" every time I try one of their fruit beers and this is no exception.

This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries (Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle) Wisconsin Farmed Wheat and Belgian Roasted Barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year.

Appearance: ruby red small foam and almost no lacing

Smell: Cherry aroma sweet and malty

Taste: This is what cherries aspire to be a part of! Wonderful cherry beer, differant then a Kriek but almost a cherry soda

Mouthfeel: smooth cherry coated after taste vey pleasant

Overall: this beer is world class, smooth and tasty.

I would love to see such a beer at 8% ABV, as a strong fruit ale
