Served from a 750ml bottle into a Krombacher Pilsner glass. About 45 degrees.
Appearance- Darker murky brownish/tawny color with no head.
Smell- Mostly raspberry with light maltyness. Not much else going on.
Taste- Straight raspberry with a nice caramel malt backbone. Light aged hoppyness. Really tastes like a raspberry tart. There's even a light biscuity pie crust taste going on.
Mouthfeel- Nice carbonation with mildly viscous mouthfeel especially for 4%.
Overall- This is such a unique beer. I'm glad I finally got to try it.
