Notes/Commercial Description:
Treat yourself to a rare delight. The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale.
Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

A - Poured from a 750ml. A deep crimson with good lacing.

S - Smell of tart raspberries.

T - A wonderful blend of sweet and tart. Raspberry flavor dominates.

M - Smooth and medium bodied. Well carbonated.

D - A very easy drinker, however, the sweetness would probably be too much after a couple of pints.

Overall, a very fine brew but more of a dessert beer.

Appearance is a hazy ruby red color with a two finger pink head.
Aroma is jammy, farm fresh fruit with raspberry being the front runner.
Smells more sweet than tart.
Flavor is raspberries mixed with apples and other fruit. Extremely jammy. A perfect balance of sweetness and tartness.
Mouthfeel is creamy and perfectly carbonated. Not much lingering flavor but enough to make is perfect. Extremely refreshing.
This is my favorite of the new glarus beers now having had them all.
The little sour tartness this one gives puts it at the top for me.
I'd you haven't had new glarus fruit beers do yourself a favor and track them down.

Pours a cloudy, red/brown color. 1/4 inch head of an off-pink color. Decent retention and slight lacing. Smells of strong and fresh raspberries, hint of sweet malt, and a hint of hops. Fits the style of a Fruit / Vegetable Beer. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. There is also a slight tartness and slight dryness. Tastes of fresh raspberries, hint of hops, hint of sweet malt, and a hint of alcohol. Overall, the aroma and body of the raspberries is amazing. The freshness is akin the Samuel Smith's Raspberry, but the blend is even better. It tastes of more than pure raspberry juice; tart, slightly hoppy, and irresistible.
