Notes/Commercial Description:
Treat yourself to a rare delight. The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale.
Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

Poured from bottle into tulip glass. Left a nice 2 inch off-white colored head that took a while to settle down. Color is a shade of red, maybe auburn.

Aroma - definitely fruit, fresh raspberry preserves

Taste - sweetness at first that settles into a nice tart finish. Raspberry, strawberry, and cranberry flavors all present

Mouthfeel - light and refreshing body, highly carbonated, a bit creamy

Overall - a very tasty and refreshing drink - enjoyed it out on my patio on a nice sunny fall day. This is a nice treat to pick up once a year or so when I'm up in Wisconsin

Thanks Atoneworks for this amazing beer! Pours a hazy ruby color with a large head that dissipated fast, but did leave a solid finger of thick foam atop the beer. No lacing. The nose can be described in one word: raspberries. The taste isn't very far removed from the nose: raspberries, sweet at first and finishing tart, almost sour. Light bodied with light carbonation. Overall, this is an extremely well crafted beer that is highly drinkable. Balanced, this beer is neither cloying sweet nor mouth puckering sour, it is highly drinkable and quite refreshing. Outstanding job, New Glarus!

Originally had this at a tasting and it was my favorite beer of the day then had it on tap.

Appearance: Pours a red/pink color with a film of a white head. Just looks like a fruit beer.

Smell: Smells of straight up sweet raspberries and minimal tartness. So inviting.

Taste - Amazing raspberry flavor. A little tart. Not too sweet. Not too syrupy. Just perfect.

Mouthfeel: Nice mouthfeel.

Overall: One of the best fruit beers I've ever had. Just right. If I traded, this, Serendipity and Wisconsin Belgian Red would be on my permanent ISO list. I could drink this every day.

The beer comes in a dark mahogany red with a bit of brown with a good amount of head and lots of fizziness coming up.

The aroma is just juicy fresh raspberries. It's so sweet, but the highlight is the amount of tartness in there. There's also that fermented fruit and oak in there.

The flavor follows with just pure raspberries. It really just tastes like actual raspberries without that medicine or candy taste, even with a beer like Founders Rubeaus. It's just a perfect amount of raspberry sweetness and then it hits you with tons of tartness. Almost to the point of a lambic, but not quite. Then the finish gets you with a bit of oak, more tart drying, and champagne like carbonation.

This really is the best fruit beer I've had. The essence of raspberry is totally encapsulated in this beer.
