Treat yourself to a rare delight. The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale.
Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

Raspberries and a light touch of oak. Some things are more complicated than they need to be. New Glarus' Raspberry Tart isn't one of these things. This brew is bursting with fresh berry flavors with a dry tannin kick that both the berries and the oak help contribute to. It's sweet at first, but nicely tart at the end.

New Glarus Raspberry Tart

Split the 750 ml bottle with my wife. Served chilled in accompanying New Glarus glassware.

A) A pleasingly raspberry red, with a frothy pinkish head reaching the top of the glass. This settled to a dusting. Ample lacing....

S) A delightful aroma of Raspberry and distant oak barrel. Very natural, refreshing scent is provided by the berries.

T) I get a whole lot of Raspberry, and I am not complaining. This brew never gets too sweet for my liking. This is thanks to a little earthy, slightly funky tartness. Perfect after dinner beer for sure...

M) Near full bodied... Soft supple body, with smooth carbonation. Twangy tartness provides more zip than the carbonation, and a pleasing aftertaste awaits.

O) My personal favorite Fruit Beer from New Glarus, and they've got quite a few top notch options, so that's saying something.
