Notes/Commercial Description:
Treat yourself to a rare delight. The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale.
Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

Ruby red with a very thin head. Ultra clear and no carbonation visible

Fresh raspberries and a thick puree aroma. Very sweet and nit very dimensional

Follows the aroma with a huge juicy raspberry flavor, fresh off the vine flavor. Other tastes of jam and sweet preservatives. Raspberry all the way through

Medium to light body that finishes dry and aftertaste doesn't last long. Extremely drinkable

One of the best fruit beers ive had if not the best example of use of raspberry

Big thanks to Tewaris for hooking me up with this bottle! I opened this bottle and immediately the room filled with the sweet smell of raspberries. The body of this beer is clear dark red, thousands of bubbles rise up to form a champaign like head. A purple tinted head rises to two fingers before quickly settling to just a ring, leaving behind no lacing. The only way to describe the nose and taste of this is raspberries. On the label they claim to use wheat and hops, but all I can detect is the sweet sweet berries. Mouthfeel is very lively with carbonation, like a champaign or sparkling wine. Mouth puckering tartness is very well balanced by the sweetness. Don't know what else to say, other than this is worth seeking out.

A - a deep red with nice amounts of carbonation. sort of looked like a sparkling wine

S - the smell was a little off, fruity, but almost wine-like.. i got more of a hint of grapes than i did raspberries

T - THE MONEYMAKER. unbelievably fruity.. not much else other than a sweet juice-like carbonated alcoholic drink (which was more than enough to win me over)

M - goes down very smooth and quickly. sharing a bottle between the 3 of us sounded like a good idea, but we were all left wanting more.

O - this was a great beer. i wish the smell matched the taste, but in a sense, i'm glad it threw me off like that because i was shocked when i had the first sip.

Big thanks to womencantsail for this!
750 mL bottle poured into a snifter

A- Clear deep red with a two finger off-white head.

S- Raspberries, slightly tart, pie like sweetness, just awesome.

T- Like the nose kicked up a notch. Tart raspberries, sweet pie filling, very well balanced, just enought tartness and just enought sweetness!

M- Smooth, very silky, light to medium body.

O- Fantastic! This is a great raspberry beer. Wish I could buy this near me, definitely will seek this out again!
