Treat yourself to a rare delight. The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale.
Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

750ml bottle into tulip. Special thanks to biglobo8971 for this.

A- Dark red pour with a little brown in the mix, half finger tight bubble off white head. Lacing is minimal.

S- Raspberries and strawberries right up front, with some rhubarb and cinnamon in the back. There is a touch of dough in there making it smell like a fresh baked pie.

T- Tart raspberries, sweet strawberries and cherries with a touch of rhubarb. There is a slight spice in the finish. Makes your cheeks tingle.

M- Light side of medium body, a touch syrupy, carbonation is low.

O- This is very good, should probably have split it but I'm selfish like that lol. The syrupy feeling makes it feel a little heavier than it is but you get past it really quickly.

750ml bottle, review is from notes.

Pours a nice raspberry red color, slightly off white head atop the beer, recedes quickly, fairly bubbly complexion to the beer, no lacing to speak of. The nose is incredible, raspberry, raspberry and more raspberry. Could be a pie filling, it's also jammy, pungent, tart, sweet, effervescent, but more importantly, ever so inviting. The flavors are nice, overpowering raspberry, the flavor is natural, but the sweetness and tartness skews it down towards something from a can or a raspberry syrup, just a hint of malt on the back end rounds out what could be an exceptionally delicious pie. I think that the raspberries are just a bit too dominent and overboard that it comes off a bit harsher and not quite as refined as it could. The mouthfeel is good, crisp yet juicy, just enough bubbles.

Verdict: Damn delicious stuff. One of the best fruit beers around, it almost drinks like fruit juice, but on a hot day, or really on any day you are looking for something different, this is spot on.

Bottle from mscarpen, 750ml into a tulip. Thanks a ton Scott!

Dark red body with a white head, light film and some bubbles retain. Nose is just - wow. Raspberry and rhubarb jam/pie filling. Just like a friggin' pie. A bit of spicing too, but the fruit presented is just brilliant. Tastes just about the same, raspberry and rhubarb pie, light spicing, sweet raspberry juice and some pie-like notes. Gentle tartness in the finish with some peripheral spicing. Medium body, low carbonation. Raspberry hangs around for some time. Overall, brilliant - easily the best fruit beer I've ever had.
