Thanks again to deliriumfest for the beer.
It's an amber liquid topped by a frothy off-white head. The smell is a bit underwhelming. There's some nice sweetly caramel malt, just not enough hops to live up to it. The flavor is better and really quite good. The malt is strong. The hops are bitter and flavorful. It's not quite as full as the top IPAs in the country but still very good. I really like the feel quite a bit. It's sort of frothy, sudsier than most IPAs. It's a very drinkable beer with a good balance, if not quite enough flavor to really push it over the top.

A very orange beer, you didn't see this color in Midwest beers too often if at all back when this hit shelves for the first time. The dry hopping wasn't huge, but it was a shift in direction for this region.
Taste was a nice drier toasted pale malt bill paired with hops beyond your usual 6% midwest ipa. Very little caramel, this paired toast with green veggie hops. Its pretty straightforward and easy drinking around the 50ibu range. I really liked it.
