A: Bright, unfiltered golden-straw in color with a light, creamy head.
S: Mostly getting sweet malts and some grain scents.
T: Smooth, sweet malts, just a bit of fruity hop, and....corn! I'm so unaccustomed to drinking beers tasting of corn that I was caught totally by surprise. Even more surprising - it's good!
M: Creamy but way easy to drink, just like a nice summery cream ale should be.
New Glarus has done a great job creating a highly sessionable cream ale that is well-balanced and has a long, smooth finish riding on a sweet corn flavor yet dry in feel. Considering I don't normally chose this style, I enjoyed this one a lot.
