I like my stouts and porters near room temperature as did I served this beer.
Appearance -- I poured this beer into my imperial pint glass. Dark coffee in color with a three finger khaki head. The head lasted for a while, although I have read the reviews of others that said the head was quite weak and didn't last that long. I'm sure the imperial pint glass contributed a lot to the large and lasting head. Watery lacing.
Smell -- Rich, sweet cocoa.
Taste -- Reminiscent of a chocolate type drink. Roasted flavors. Quite enjoyable.
Mouthfeel -- Thin to medium. No too filling.
Drinkability -- Very drinkable. I think this is a solid offering from NG. I'm very impressed by NG's ability to make solid beers of such different styles. Would recommend and would drink again.
