A - pours black as night with a small, white head
S - roasted malts, chocolate, grains...full of malt bill as it should be
T - follows the nose. Sweet and chocolaty upfront and moves onto a little bit of grain character. The chocolate notes come back stronger and more chocolaty than they did on the front on the tongue. Finishes a little dry with some of the roasted malts/coffee/dark chocolate character.
M - silky smooth and full. This brewery has some very consistent mouthfeels.
D - overall, this is an easy drinking stout. Nothing that will blow your mind, but it won't let you down either. This was out at the brewery, fortunately my buddy had one in his fridge for me to try.
