12oz bottle acquired in a trade from grynder33.
Dark brown color with light head. Subtle aromas of chocolate, cherries, and oak. Originally was impatient and drank when too cold. After giving it the chance to warm up, noticed a big difference.
Very sour on initial tasting. Cherries definitely shine through, but also noticed a strong oak presence. I imagine Glarus threw in some oak chips during conditioning, because not labeled as being barrel aged, and doesn't have that strong of an oak flavor.
All in all a very enjoyable beer. Didnt strike me much like a stout though, but who cares, it taste great.
