Abbey single here, pale golden color. Clear because the small amount of sediment was left in the bottle. Good lacing on the glass. Faintly complex aroma with bubblegum/taffy, medicinal herb and a biscuity malt. Big push of crispness is followed by a smoothness that floats the moderate sized body. Peach and pear fruitiness mix with a peppery flavor. Dry malt character comes off quite clean and the yeast drops some medicinal phenols to show its Belgian-esque flare. Hops are mild with more flavor than bitterness. Finishes with a nutty yeast and malt combo on the dry side.
Can't see drinking this one on its own, it is most certainly begging to be paired with a lunch though.
