Medium straw color, hazy, with a white dense head. Some lacing and okay head retention.
Smells fruity, sugary...and there are definite bubblegum notes!
Which is really interesting.
Taste is sweet at first, then finishes towards dry, complex enough, and sort of easy going.
Clean aftertaste, minimal hop bitterness. Good "snap" crispness to it.
Mouthfeel is excellent, dancing bubbles, high carbonation.
Drinkable, but the high carbonation can get filling. I rarely expect a Belgian Ale to be a session beer. Pair this with some great cheese and maybe dried apricots. Quality beer from New Glarus.
