Reviewed solo out of a pint glass.
Appearance: pours yellow and golden wheat, slightly cloudy. 1 1/2 fingers of froth white head.
Smell: I get a ton of Belgian yeast and wheat. I got some light grains.
Taste: opens with the classic Belgian yeast as light grains increase in intensity. Light malts and wheat profiles present themselves and compliment the solid open leaving a light and wheaty aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: light bodied with moderate carbonation, crisp and refreshing.
Drinkability: I would definitely have this again. I recommend this to those seeking a solid hefe which is highly drinkable. It saddens me that I only brought two bottles back from WI. Another solid brew from New Glarus.
