Pours straw in color with a 2 finger white head that has decent retention. Slight hazyness to it typical to hefes
Nose has all the normal players, banana clove esters with a hint of spice and tartness similar to that of lemon zest. Subtle wheat throughout the brew.
Wheat and lemon zest are first to hit the palate and fade into a large profile of the yeasty esters. A big banana flavor with hints of clove and spices in the finish. Super tastey and bold hefe.
Nice big carbonation leaves this brew really drinkable and give the light feel a nice body.
Overall great hefe

The last brew from my New Glarus 12 pack sampler! need to make a run up to WI soon.
Poured from 12oz bottled into Weizen glass with a huge 3 inch head that took it's time to settle down. Lot's of noticeable carbonation here! Color is a golden yellow
Aroma is of cloves and banana, and wheat.
The taste is great, and very refreshing. Banana, little citrus/zest to go with the wheat flavor and a bit of spice.
Mouthfeel - very carbonated and a medium body with a nice crisp finish.
Overall this is a great hefe and awesome summer beer. I need to buy this more regularly.
