In a pint glass.

Very nice head didn't really keep but nice initially. Nice golden yellow in color. Smells kind of like a beligain. Tastes very nice with some more fruitier esters in it. A mild mouthfeel to it with flowery notes. Its a very nice hefe I enjoy it on a once and a while kind of basis. I will def be pickin this one up again though. Drinkin local.

12 oz pour into a pint glass. Here we go:

A - hazy golden/yellow color with pretty massive head. Plenty of carbonation in this one.

S - Clove and spice

T - Tart flavor with spices, ginger and cinnamon dominate.

M - A little fizzy...sounds tacky, but it feels like it's dancing in my mouth

D - Goes down real well, abv a little high to be able to session, but I could go for another.

Another fine brew from New Glarus.

Many thanks to biernutz for this one. Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a Harpoon pilsner glass.

A: Gentle pour yields a 1.5 finger frothy white head with very good retention. Beer is a cloudy, muddy orange. Lacing is stringy and spotty but with little cling.

S: Outrageously aromatic and pungent. Orange rind, wheat, coriander, and other spices. Very sweet and robust and probably one of the most appetizing I've ever come across.

T: Opens with an orange rind tartness and big, in your face spices. Wheat in the middle with a slightly floral and accented spicy finish. Aftertaste is watery and wheaty.

M: Medium bodied, well carbonated, lively but subtley deep and robust at the same time. This one is definitely bubbly but it has a noticeably big body to it. Finish is sharp and aftertaste lingers.

D: For a 7.2% abv. wheat beer, I can barely taste the alcohol. Supremely drinkable although the flavor does seem a bit watered down at points. Feel is great with a nice, well-rounded body. Definitely a great example of the style.

Thanks to dickinsonbeer for this...
Appears a hazy gold with a 2 finger white head that fades into a soapy head of batter. Tons of spotty lacing is left around the glass.
Smell is of banana, toasted bread, spices, clvoes, pepper, and tart wheat.
Taste is of the aforementioned aromas with an estery tastiness that keeps this Hefe nice and interesting.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, citrusy, spritzy up front, with a nice balance of sweetness and tartness that come together for a well done brew.
