This one came as an extra in a trade with imperialking. I couldn't be happier, as I've had only one other New Glarus beer and it was really good.
A: Poured a bright golden/yellow color and apparent with heavy carbonation. A thick bright white foam tops by tulip glass and fades to a single layer within minutes.
S: Soft lemon zest/peel. Notes of hay/dust/earth mixed with light floral/grass aromas. Just the right amount of fragrance here. Not jumping from the glass, but there if you want to find it.
T: Deliciously tart. The cirtus/lemon continues to taste and becomes more orange-like as I dive in. Noticing a little bit of green apple, too.
M: Very light and refreshing. Full flavored and not so light that it just washes down without you noticing.
D: Another great New Glarus beer. I could have a couple of these and be off to a great night. I'll have to seek out more.
