Bertram, you are a generous fella!
A. Very pale straw color. About a finger of eggshell white head that dissolves to a quarter finger ring but sticks around for the full session. Light-moderate lacing.
S. Apple skin, pear, white grape, some barnyard funk, grain, biscuit, mild hop. Very good.
T. Starts with big lemon, grape, and sour apple notes up front until shifting into a slightly hoppy and grainy finish with sour notes riding throughout. A little one note but nonetheless very good.
M. Slight nit that this is overcarbed. Very bubbly finish that covers a little of the flavor in the finish.
O. A very nice Berliner. As stated, carb is a bit high which makes this a little less easy drinking and masks some of the complexity a bit. But it does have a nice sour pucker to go along with the grainy wheat notes. Thumbs up.
