I must admit, I've had a hard time getting into NG. Everything I've had by them so far is too sweet or (worse yet) laced with the macro nasty sweetness. This beer, though, was a pleasant surprise.
It pours a very attractive hazy orange with a generous, fluffy orange-white head. Lots of carbonation yielding a good amount of lacing. It smells quite hoppy, but also sweet and yeasty, vegetative, with hints of citrus peel. To taste, this is a nice, lush wheat that is appropriately sweet, but not in an overly-done way. Clove, sweet grains and citrus, and a hair of hops at the end. It is very full and carbonated with a dry finish. I'm not normally huge for wheats, but I enjoy this one immensely.
