Pours a cloudy golden in color with an expansive white rocky head. Thick lacing along the side of the glass. The aroma consists of wheat malt, banana and clove. The mouthfeel is medium in body and airy. Very soft on the palate. The taste has a tangy wheat malt body. Spicy clove follows shortly thereafter. Some lemon emerges toward the back.
A very solid hefeweizen from New Glarus. I wouldn't call it my "go to" beer this summer, but I've picked it up on several occasions this season. It's a classic, flavorful example of the style.
