Obtained a 6 pk on a recent trip to Milwaukee. 12 oz bottle into a tumbler pint.
A - Gold, clear, and crowned with a slightly rocky head of 1.5 fingers of white foam.
S - Grassy, fruity, and earthy hops. Not the strongest bouquet, but pleasant enough and inviting.
T - Fantastic. The citric and green, almost flowery hops are ascendant, but blend nicely w underlying tones of fresh baked bread and earthier flavors. Finishes juicy and just a hint tart.
M - Thin side of medium body, w lively carbonation that makes this very quaffable. The finish is just dry enough to encourage another sip immediately.
O - Textbook APA w an easy-to-session taste and ABV level. This is an amazing brew, and I hope Wisconsinites don't take it for granted.

12 oz. bottle, with no apparent bottled on date present. My third beer from the New Glarus mixed variety twelve pack, gifted to me from my mom on a recent excursion to Wisconsin.
Poured into a Duvel tulip glass.
A - It pours a nice bright golden orange colored body with just over a finger of creamy sudsy white head. Leaves some nice thick scattered lacing on the glass. Looks very nice.
S - The smell is bright, floral, fresh, and appealing. Creamy, piney, grapefruit, oranges, and the perfect balance of bready honeyed malt.
T - The taste follows the nose - bright, juicy, and fresh tasting. Pine, oranges, grapefruit. Once again, perfectly balanced with the bready honeyed malt. A delicious American pale ale.
M - The feel is smooth, crisp, and clean. Lightly hoppy & bitter on the finish. Medium-light bodied with excellent carbonation. A deliciously easy drinker.
Overall, a classic example of the style; I would surely get this all the time if it was available to me in Illinois. This rivals some of the bigger and badder fresh Pipeworks DIPA's I've had in terms of ingredients / hoppiness and freshness. Extremely crisp, balanced, and delicious for an American pale ale. Highly recommended.
