Pours amber to copper with a thin off-white head. Spotted lacing sticks.

The smell is of softly roasted caramel/toffee with a touch of noble (Hallertau) hops.

The taste is of lightly roasted sweet caramel/toffee - with tart lemon with a bitter-ish touch in the finish. Clean and refreshing!

The feel is clean and crisp - as a lager should be!

A nicely balanced, easy-drinking, "sessionable" lager.

Clear, unexpected deep yellow-orange. The head was thin with almost no lacing needed some more carbonation - the only thing that kept the score down.

Color was a harbinger of the heavy malt sweetness with some date and prune fruitiness.

Nice balance between the nutty sweetness and earthy, grassy bitterness. Not overly complex or deep but good.

Substantial enough but the lack of carbonation held it back and did not much of a finish.

A very enjoyable pilsner but a bit too nut brown ale leaning.
