poured into a glass stein.

Appearance: orangish amber bodied beer almost has a copper hue. Huge white fluffy head thats easily 3 fingers high. Head drops slowely and looks clumpy; stick every where on the side of the stien.

Smell: Its a fairly malt forward lager. It reminds you of an octoberfest lager. Little grainy and bready. Touch of sweetness and fruitiness. Corn and rice hulls.

Taste: It starts with a light fruit note of apples and maybe white grapes. Transitions quickly to the grainy malts about the middle of the drink. Its a touch bready while still remains sweet. Maybe a faint honey note in there too. Finishes with a touch of bitterness thats both grassy and floral. Little fruity sweetness sneeks back into the finish as well.

Mouthfeel: light bodied beer with moderately high carbonation. Crisp, refreshing beer. You can tell its bottle conditioned beer since it is very well carbonated. Super easy drinking beer and thirst quenching.

Overall: A great german lager, not boring at all. Wonderful option here from New glarus for a hot summer day that you are out being active. You can tell that Dan Carey learned how to brew in Germany.

Tad of sulfur, kinda' sweet malt and a soft blending of German hops.
Rather dark, almost brown but still brilliantly clear with a tan cap and fairly active carbonation.
Kind of a hard water quality. Mild malt with a touch of sweetness. Mellow hop flavors show in middle and help finish the drink. Some drying that holds a bit of astringency.
Ample bubbles, but holding no sharpness or bite. Rather light feel but delightful anyway.
This is solid and enjoyable. Drinks well.

This German-style Pils pours a clear, golden-amber color, and is capped by a big, frothy white head with a light amount of lacing. Grain, sweet malt and noble hops are all welcoming in this clean lager's nose. Sweet and bready malt flavors meet a light hop bitterness, nothing overpower, but hoppy enough to provide great balance. Medium body and moderate carbonation round out this crisp and smooth lager. Anyone else drooling?

Cheers!
