Bottle courtesy of Iowaherkeye. Thanks!
Think I waited to long on this beer. Pours a bright clear reddish orange malt with a small beige head. Smell is sticky, stale, gooey malt with band aid qualities and metal. Probably not as it was intended. Unappealing malt flavor and metal as well.

Filling the glass releases spicy malt aromas with some kettle sugars.
The beer pours brilliant copper under a 1” finely bubbled foam cap that produces good lace all the way down.
Very malty palate, rich yet clean and smooth, spicy malts.
Medium body and carbonation

Got this beer from a friend who went to the brewery looking for Dancing Man but got this other seasonal instead.

A - Deeper amber-orange color that you can see through. Minor white head that sits nice and high. Medium to light lacing.

S - Strong malt aroma with caramel notes. Also grainy tones with some noble hops. Smells like an Oktoberfest.

T - Tons of maltiness with some cereal grain, light caramel, and lager flavor. This beer has a significant noble hop flavor ans some bitterness and more of a yeast character than some others. Some how this beer is sweet malty but not too much caramalt which is a nice change from those other beers that just try to make up the sweetness from those amber malts.

M - Medium mouth-feel. Light to moderate carbonation. The sweetness is predominant but is still balanced with the hops and crisp lager finish making me want to drink several steins full.

Overall, this is a great craft beer that is a change of pace on the style of beer that I wouldn't turn down. This is probably my favorite beer of the style but I wouldn't go all the way to Wisconsin for just this beer and would be better served getting Sam Adams Octoberfest.

Glass- Dimpled mug
