Gold to amber hazy colored with a white head. The head lasts and there is lacing throughout. The aroma is a citrusy hop. The bottle indicates that it is a local hop, although it reminds me of Simcoe. (I'm not really sure what local hops means, does that mean local hybrids or does that mean locally grown standard varieties). Hop taste up front, and hop flavor throughout. Mouthfeel is thick. You can taste sweetness initially. Clean beer, balanced and quite refined, for a double IPA, presumably that's from the cellering they do on it. It is bottle conditioned, but I found no yeast stuck to the bottom.
