Thanks to Docrock for this bottle!
12 fl oz brown glass bottle poured into a weizen glass, reviewed live:
A - Pours a textbook copper color with a khaki, surprisingly creamy, three finger head. Retention is good, but not noteworthy. Not what I was expecting, but appealing.
S - Banana dominates. Light caramel, candi sweetness, and clove/spice esters are prominant. Moderate in strength. Typical biscuity yeast characteristics are present, if a bit restrained (though that may be true to style.) Inviting, to say the least.
T - Typical but fresh, sweet banana notes open. Lightly toasted and Crystal malts form the body, differentiating it from your typical hefe. I like it. Not bready or doughy. Light spice throughout, though I'd be hard pressed to identify them. The caramel throughout is a nice touch.
M - Crisp, chewy, smooth, and refreshing. Nearly ideal.
D - This is the first beer I've had in the style. A departure from your typical wheat offering, but definitely worth a go. I'd have it again.

12oz bottle with no date. bought on a recent trip to the land of the cheeseheads
pours semi-cloudy amber-gold, smell is like a straight hefe- clove, wheat, coriander, some cinnamon as well. taste is an extremely bright, fruity, crisp take on a hefe. apple, pear, and tangerine fruit notes round out the clove and wheat hefe taste. slight cloying feel, light, well carbonated.
Great easy drinkin' wheat beer with terrific flavor. Well done New Glarus!

12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass
A- Nice amber/dark orange color. Very clear with a 3 finger white head.
S- Wheat, Clove, Banana, Sweet smell. Smells very similar to dancing man just a little cleaner.
T- Very similar to smell, lots of clove. Basically a lighter, cleaner dancing man. Really nice Kristalweizen to introduce me to the style.
M- Light and clean all the way through with some great carbonation.
O- Another solid offering from New Glarus. I'm still of the opinion that they do not make a bad beer. If you want all the flavors of a great hefeweizen with a lighter body, seek this out.

12oz bottle poured into a Pint glass
A - deep amber in color, very thick 1" plus head that slowly dwindled leaving a thin cap that lasted through the entire glass. minimal lacing that quickly slides back down the sides.
S - mild banana and a touch of cloves, slight maltiness.
T - nice wheat profile with a bit of the banana. a slight tangy aftertaste.
M - above average carbonation and a medium body for the style
O - really attractive beer, pleasant aroma and easily drinkable. havent had many Kristalweizen's prior to this, but enjoy the style, have always been a Hefeweizen fan. the carbonation is spot on, and this is an emjoyable beer. i see this as a good beer for late spring time.

A: Pours a copper to orange hue with a huge off white head. Little to no lacing but the color and head looked great. Crystal clear as the style would suggest.
S: like a hefe, all kinds of wheat, spice, banana and hints of clove and bubble gum. A tad muted, but still noticeable.
T: follows the nose in terms of ingredients, but the flavor profile is more enhanced. The clove and banana noted really hop out.
M: medium carbonation but the body is light to medium. Really easy to drink and it has a nice, sweet hang. Slightly creamy.
O: like most brews of new glarus, this is well crafted and one you should try. This stands up to any imported kristal weizen. Prost.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a tall New Glarus Signature Pilsner Glass.
Appearance: Pours a deep copper amber orange with a lot of rising bubbles. Big four finger off white head which slowly recedes into a thin creamy layer. Leaves a lot of lacing around the glass.
Smell: A very yeasty, spicy, and fruity aroma. Wheat grains and bready malts with a mix of spices including clove, cinnamon, and a little coriander. Bready hints of hay, grains, biscuit, and crackers. Nice mix of fruity esters with some bananas, lemon, apple, orange, and some bubblegum. Subtle hints of earthy hops in the background. A pretty good mix of wheat, spices, and fruit.
Taste: Like the smell hints, a solid mix of wheat, spices, and fruity esters. Bready wheat and malts with tasting notes of cereal grains, biscuit, hay, crackers, and yeast. Nice mix of spices with some clove, cinnamon, and a tad of coriander like spice. Complex mix of fruit undertones with some notes of bananas, apple, lemon, orange, and bubblegum. Mild earthy hop presence that provides a little bitterness towards the finish. A solid mix of flavors. Well balanced.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Nicely creamy, spicy, smooth, and fairly drying.
Overall: A very solid take on the style. A good mix of wheat, spice, and fruity esters.
