750ml poured into a tulip glass

A: Hazy brownish golden... 2 finger head. Great lacing and above average head retention.

S: Unicorns, no wait... Narwhals. Either way I could take whiffs of this beverage all day long. Rich, sweet strawberry. Not subtle at all.

T: One of the few beers I have imbibed that the taste matched the smell spot on. Cream and strawberry. Rhubarb adds some very subtle tartness. Savory for days. Jam.

M: Perfect body in that it has plenty of substance w/ out being overwhelming.

O: Flat out a glorious beverage regardless of alcohol. Was a treat to try. Will clear the shelf if I ever see it anywhere in the future.

Can't get enough of New Glarus's fruit beers, so I can't thank laymansbeerfan enough; thank you brother! Split with the wife into wine glasses.

A: Darker crimson brown, unfiltered towards the bottom of the 750, well carbonated with plenty of head but no lacing really.

S: Strawberry is upfront and full of life, sweet and fruity. Rhubarb is a bit buried but its tartness shines through lightly. Suggestions of honey, brown sugar, and other sweeter malt characters lie underneath all of the fruitiness.

T: Sweet strawberry dominates with rhubarb pulling in a distant second. Fruity and jammy; preserves/dessert/pie all come to mind. I could be imagining it but there does seem to be a sweeter malt backbone, with ghostly hints of caramel and brown sugar. Fruit-dominated though, for sure.

MF: Good carbonation keeps this from being cloying; lighter medium body.

O: I like strawberry, so this was a win for me. Would have loved a bit more balance from a tart rhubarb character but I'm nit-picking really. Awesome stuff.
