Appearance: A lot lighter in color than I remember. Much closer to amber than brown. Nice head and generous lacing.
Smell: Whiffs of malt in the aroma.
Taste: This is advertised as a nut brown ale, but it's really more of a malty amber ale with nut undertones. This is certainly no complaint, however. The nuttiness is soft and pleasant. Earthy hops round things out. You've got your maltiness, nuttiness, and hoppiness, culminating in a multi-faceted and wonderfully balanced beer!
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied and a plesant nut aftertaste lingers.
Drinkability: Certainly flavorful and interesting enough to keep one coming back for more.
Serving type: bottle
