look: 3.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

Appearance: Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a small white head that quickly shrinks down to a tiny ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass. Except for the lackluster head retention, it has the traditional wit look.

Smell: Heavy on the lemon, with a hint of coriander. A touch of chalky yeast too. Gives a strong impression of freshness. Quite nice.

Taste: The flavor is tart and lemony, with small amounts of coriander and orange peel. Lots of musty, chalky yeast. Extremely refreshing.

Mouthfeel: Medium in thickness, with a smooth and rich, yeasty body. Ends with a hint of dryness.

Drinkability: Good stuff here... Overall, it leans fairly heavily towards the lemony side, but that doesn't affect the flavor too much. This is a good rendition of a wit.

OK, one of the first tests when my wife is with me is whether or not she likes the beer - in this case she did. The coriander added to this wit gives it a nicely spicey, and citrusy flavor, light tasting and thirst quenching. The look is clear yellow with a very minimal head and no lacing. The aroma is very much of the citrus and better than many. The feel is medium to full with good drinkability. One of 66's best.
