Served in snifter at Portsmouth Brewery.
Appearance: This beer poured a small head that reduced to a thin layer. It is a murky reddish brown with bubbles coming up the side of the glass.
Smell: Bready, caramel, toffee, spicy, bananas, and clove.
Taste: Caramel and toffee delight. Spicy, yeasty, bready, bananas, and a little alcohol.
Mouthfeel: Creamy smooth, medium bodied, warming alcohol, low to medium carbonation, and it got better as it warmed up.
Overall: Pretty solid wheatwine from Smutty's sister brewery.
Serving type: on-tap

22oz, October '11 bottle
A: Pours a clear deep orange color. Crystal clear. Initially a layer of bright white. Turns into a nice collar around the edges of glass. Some alcohol feet. Some lacing bits.
S: Sweetness. Breadiness from the malts. Some orange blossom. Some honeysuckle. And there is booze.
T: No bitterness on tongue. Hops have faded. Getting nice butterscotch like sweetness. Again, maybe a touch of orange and citrus (just a hint). Some herbal notes. Really nice tasting brew. Finish has some lingering sweetness. A little booze on back end as you sip. Warms throat.
M: Big medium.
