Thanks to Abecall for landing this one and sharing.
A - Pours brown with 1/2 finger of head, which quickly settles to flatness. Leaves little to no lacing. Carbonation is low.
S/T - Light roast coffee, with light chocolate, oak, vanilla, bourbon barrel, and finishes with dark fruits, which are possibly plums. Hops are minimal and the beer is very complex. The taste is just incredible; very balanced, and delicate.
M - Full-bodied, malt dominated, and sweet. It is very syrupy and delicious.
D - Damn. Perfect overall. No alcohol feel, just some improvements on the head, would make this beer perfect. Well worth the hype. Even with a lack of hoppiness, the beer has a unique balance of malts.
